Overview

The Civilian Personnel Office at Schriever AFB is responsible for the oversight and direction of the personnel program for appropriated fund civilian employees. This includes the direction and administration of the labor-management relations and employee-management relations programs, affirmative employment programs, position management and classification, employee development and training, and injury and unemployment compensation.

Internal vacancy announcements are posted on the AFPC Civilian Employment web site and are open to current permanent Air Force civilian employees only. You may self-nominate for vacancies on the AFPC Employment web site or by calling 1-800-525-0102. A résumé IS NOT required to apply for Internal vacancy announcements.

As an internal applicant, you may also self-nominate for external (status candidate) vacancy announcements if you have an external eligibility (i.e. VRA or 30% DAV). These announcements will be posted on the USAJobs web site and a résumé is required. Interested applicants may locate these vacancy announcements or sign up for automated job alerts at www.usajobs.gov. To receive consideration, applicants must post an online résumé on the USAJobs web site and follow the specific instructions in the “How to Apply” section of each vacancy announcement.
